The goal of this blog is to share with and, hopefully, learn from other professionals some of the strategies and recipes that have helped me to juggle the demands of working and satisfying my desire/need to eat well during the work week.
There are many food options available at the end of the work day from great restaurants (both expensive and cheap), to take-out, to delivery, to prepared foods from FreshDirect. However, after a while, all those options get old and somehow, they are never as satisfying as home-made. Through this blog we will explore ways to supplement (if not entirely replace) all those takeout meals.
In the interest of full disclosure, this is not a blog that will focus on dumbed-down 30 minute meals. Preparing good food takes some time and effort, but it can, with a bit of forethought and this blog, be done efficiently so as to ensure that you don’t have any more late night last-minute meals consisting of cereal or over-large portions of takeout.
